Mathew’s practice is primarily focused on employment and labour matters in all sectors. Mathew has extensive experience working with both employers and employees on various types of employment and labour issues from an advocacy, transaction, and litigations perspective, including:
- Pursuing and defending wrongful dismissals, constructive dismissals, and lay-offs.
- Litigation related to employment and labour matters.
- Advising employers on employee retention and risk assessment.
- Advising employers on calculating reasonable notice for departing employees and preparing severance packages and documents.
