Janette McCaughey

Janette is a corporate law clerk with over 25 years of experience in all aspects of corporate, commercial

and real estate law and transactional matters. She is skilled at conducting due diligence reviews and

summaries of corporate records. Her responsibilities include assisting with mergers and acquisitions,

amalgamations, continuances, asset and share purchase transactions, reorganizations, tax-driven

restructuring, rectification, the purchase and sale of businesses, private and public company debt

financings, real property financings, incorporations, arrangements, dissolutions and ongoing corporate

maintenance. Janette’s educational background includes a Law Clerk Certificate from Humber College, a

Bachelor’s Degree in English from University of Waterloo and a French language Certificate from Alliance

Française.
