Amy Lok completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Toronto, Trinity College, earning a Bachelor of Arts (Hons.) degree, majoring in Political Science and Urban, Economic and Social Geography. Amy attended law school at Bond University in Queensland, Australia, and graduated in 2007 with a Juris Doctor degree. During her time at Bond, Amy was an editor of the Bond University Student Law Review.
Amy practices in the areas of real estate and corporate law. Within her real estate practice, Amy’s expertise is in the acquisition and disposition of commercial, industrial, vacant land and multi-residential properties as well as in commercial lending and financing transactions acting for both lenders and borrowers involving mezzanine, construction and permanent mortgage loans and mortgage enforcement work. She also focuses on commercial leasing, acting for both landlords and tenants. Residential transactions are a part of Amy’s practice as well.
Amy is a member of the Ontario Bar Association and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers.
