Douglas Christie
Doug Christie recently joined Harris + Harris
as a senior commercial litigator. Doug graduated in 1981 and he was called to the Ontario bar in 1983. He attended the University of Western Ontario to Study law.
Doug has litigated in all levels of Ontario courts as well as the Supreme Court of Canada. He has spent a large amount of time representing clients in injunction litigation. Doug has also worked in mediation and dispute resolutions.
Doug first became a law partner with R. Alan Harris, the founder of Harris + Harris. Since that time, he has been a partner in several firms, always as a commercial litigator.
Hobbies include playing guitar and performing in local clubs. Hiking and trail biking are enjoyable activities. A strong desire to help clients has kept Doug focused in litigation.
